    I carry out policy, market, feedstock, sustainability and technology analysis of bioproducts, for UK and international clients. I am NNFCC’s lead original content writer for marketing material, and update the website and social media.

    Projects have involved research into utilising biowastes, IB, SynBio, biorefining, agriculture, biochemistry, and biogas among other things. I work with governments, industry, the EU, and academia on a range of projects, including:

    – Leading delivery for workpackages in Horizon 2020 project AgroCycle, aiming to valorise agri-waste across the EU and China
    – Coordinating the Biohorizons consortium across Europe
    – Lead author of a paper on policy barriers to bioeconomy innovation in the UK
    – Lead author of Bioeconomy Policy Factsheets of EU countries (Biohorizons and BioBased NWE)
    – Lead author of a number of journal articles on AD deployment and markets
